For anyone who has not played, Dungeons & Dragons can seem very intimidating, with an endless library of rulebooks, lots of math, and a heavy amount of luck. At its heart however, none of these are what define D&D; it is ultimately a game about telling a story and having adventures with friends.

It is that spirit of camaraderie, adventure, and fun that Wizards of the Coast hopes to tap into this June with a special D&D event. Beginning on June 18 at 10 A.M. and running through June 20, several games will be streamed at the official Dungeons & Dragons website with campaigns featuring names known throughout the D&D scene and popular geek culture. They will play under the DM guidance of official D&D content creators for sessions that could take place anywhere from Faerun to the D&D Theros setting from Magic the Gathering.
There will even be one session that will feature several WWE stars, with Jeremy Crawford, Principal Rules Designer for D&D, as the Dungeon Master. There will no doubt be laughs, amazing feats, and preposterously powerful D&D creatures, all for charity.
Dungeons & Dragons rulebooks are available at Wizards of the Coast’s official website.
